Ergobaby began in 2003 when founder Karin Frost set out with her newborn son and wanted to keep him close, safe, and comfortable, drawing on the practice of babywearing. That idea grew into a line of carriers, bouncers, and compact strollers built around ergonomic support for baby's hips and spine. Its carriers are built around a patented ergonomic bucket seat and a patented 3-way adjustable neck support.
