Parasol was co-founded by Jessica Hung, a mom of two, after a friend confided in 2015 that she was struggling to find diapers made with clean ingredients that were soft enough to keep her babies comfortable and free from painful rashes. Jessica's search took her across 26 countries and four continents, learning from suppliers, scientists, artisans and parents. The diapers are totally chlorine-free and made without parabens, phthalates, latex, lotions, fragrance or harsh dyes. Parasol's Chief Wellness Officer, a triple board-certified physician, reviews every ingredient, and the company is self-funded, without venture capital or outside investors.
