PAUME was founded in 2019 after its founder brought a newborn daughter home and found existing hand sanitizers harsh on skin and wastefully packaged. The brand set out to make hand care that is gentle, effective and better designed, starting with a moisturizing antibacterial hand gel. PAUME formulas use plant-based emollients and a signature essential oil blend of cedar, citrus, lavender and rosemary. Tubes and bottles contain at least 65% recycled material and are refillable, and all formulas are vegan and certified cruelty free by the Leaping Bunny Program.
