PlanToys grades this set at 18 months and up, while US retail listings for the same set carry a small-parts choking warning and label it 3 years and up, with one specialist retailer sending under-3 shoppers to a separate, toddler-sized PlanToys fruit and vegetable set instead. The age grade is the central claim here, and the brand's own listing carries no small-parts warning even though the fruit halves separate at hook-and-loop joints.
