CURATEIQ

TrustScore breakdown

89 /100

We take what's most important for a product to determine the TrustScore. Here's our research:

Tableware Material Safety 91

The Tiny Cup is named as 100% food-grade silicone, a material this criterion treats as clean, with no melamine or bamboo-composite construction involved, satisfying the material-disclosure bar for this finished product.

Decoration & Coating Risk 79

The cup is sold in solid colors with no painted decal or printed design described on the food-contact surface, and ezpz's silicone formulation is stated free of lead and cadmium. Nothing separately confirms the cup's surface itself carries no coating or dye layer.

Food-Contact Material Safety 91

The cup is named as 100% food-grade silicone, third-party quality tested and disclosed BPA, BPS, PVC and phthalate free. Across ezpz's broader material disclosure for its silicone products, the same formulation is also stated free of BPF, lead and cadmium.

Heat & Dishwasher Guidance 91

Care guidance for the cup explicitly states not to boil, sanitize or microwave it, steering clear of a misleading microwave-safe pitch, and confirms dishwasher-safe cleaning; this instruction is repeated across brand and regional pages.

Heat & Wear Behavior 87

We found an explicit instruction not to boil, sanitize or microwave ezpz utensils and cups, which avoids the misleading 'microwave-safe' framing, but no shedding or migration testing at use temperature and no concrete replacement interval specific to the cup are published.

Recall History 97

We queried the complete CPSC recall database (9,969 records, 1973-2026) for this brand and found no recall filed against it in any role. The corpus's coverage of comparable product classes confirms the clean result is meaningful, not a blind spot.

Certification Credibility 92

The cup is stated to be third-party quality tested, FDA approved and CPSC certified, with recurring annual third-party lab testing for compliance with US and international standards. No certificate number or lab name is published, so this stops short of a resolvable registry entry.

Transparency & Support 84

The cup's material is disclosed as 100% food-grade silicone, and a generic support email is offered for problems, but there is no formal warranty term, no spare-parts route for the Tiny Cup itself, and no country-of-manufacture disclosure anywhere in what we found.

Customer Stories

Sentiment Summary

Many reviewers say the cup's small size and weighted bottom make it easy for babies to hold, lift, and drink from with little help.
Reviewers frequently describe the cup as sturdy, durable, and well made, with several buying repeat units or multiples.
Some reviewers note the cup is smaller than expected and empties quickly once a baby learns to drink from it, though most find the small size intentional and helpful for learning.
A few reviewers wish the cup had handles, since young babies can find it hard to grasp on their own at first.
One reviewer noted a cosmetic line inside the cup that would not wipe off, though they still considered the cup safe to use.

Simple idea and design…more people should introduce their little ones to open cup drinking!!

These are so cute, and I learned about them from the Montessori Babies podcast. Look forward to trying them in the future. They have a good weight to them too, didn’t expect that.

Nice quality of products and fast shipping and delivery. Satisfied with my purchase. The only reason I gave it a 4 out of 5 is that there is a small blue line on the purple cup which cannot be removed. Seems like it’s part of the cup and not a stain, so it seems safe for the baby, and just a matter of aesthetics (I hope so!)

The design of this bowl was great and I love the size, however it seems that it clings to every surface except our highchair. When I put it on the tray of our highchair my baby can just pick it right up and throw it on the floor, which kind of defeats the reason why I bought it. I'm sure all high chair trays have different textures, but I won't be using this as much as I had hoped.

I bought this for my 8 month old child and he having some trouble learning how to use it. Get ready for lots of spilling which I guess is part of the process.
