CURATEIQ

TrustScore breakdown

82 /100

We take what's most important for a product to determine the TrustScore. Here's our research:

Textile Certification 76

The towel is marketed as organic cotton and is gentle on sensitive skin, but no OEKO-TEX or GOTS certification is named anywhere for this product, and organic cotton alone is not a finished-textile certification.

Chemical Finish Avoidance 78

Nothing in the product description mentions an antimicrobial, stain-resistant, water-repellent, or wrinkle-resistant finish, and no explicit no-treatment declaration is published either way for this towel.

Fiber Disclosure & Durability 84

The fiber content is named as 100% organic cotton and the copy claims it stays absorbent and soft after repeated washing, but no GSM or fabric weight is published, and durability rests on brand assertion rather than an independent wash-test result.

Product Safety Compliance 84

The towel is third-party tested to meet CPSIA, ASTM, and Prop 65 standards, naming the applicable frameworks, but no test report, lab name, or certificate number backs the claim.

Material Chemistry 83

The towel is described only as 100% organic cotton with no restricted-substance scope, no PFAS or dye statement, and no finished-product chemical testing detail beyond the general Prop 65 mention.

Recall History 92

We queried the CPSC recall registry directly and found one closed, voluntary recall on record for this brand — a 2022 pacifier recall for a choking hazard, unrelated to towels. It was handled with a public CPSC filing and no injuries reported.

Certification Credibility 84

The towel is third-party tested to meet CPSIA, ASTM, and Prop 65 standards, but no lab, certificate number, or test result is published, and no specific textile certification (like OEKO-TEX or GOTS) is named for this product.

Transparency & Support 84

The organic cotton fiber content and size are disclosed, but the country of manufacture, supplier, and any specific warranty terms for this towel are not published anywhere we could find.

Customer Stories

Sentiment Summary

Customers frequently describe the towel as soft, cozy and comfortable, with many toddlers eager to wear it after bath or pool time.
Several reviewers say the towel is a hit for beach, pool and splash pad outings, and that it stays on active toddlers better than a wrap towel.
Reviewers like that the one-size design leaves room to grow, expecting to get multiple years of use out of it.
Some customers note the towel is very absorbent.

SO cute. I can’t handle my 13 month old in it it’s too precious.

Great towel. Child loves it. Unfortunately came wrapped in plastic.

One of my favorite items from Mushie! They material is so soft and cozy. I also like that it is a one size & my daughter can grow into it! She will be able to use it for a long time. We are planning on taking it to FL to the beach/pool as well!

Well made and adorable. Unfortunately my toddler hates it. He's 20mos and not a fan. I would still recommend.

Thank you so much for the 5 stars and the kind words! We're so glad you love the quality and think it's adorable, even if your little one hasn't come around yet. Toddlers definitely have their own opinions, and at 20 months their favorites can change from week to week. Thank you for still recommending us, and we hope he warms up to it soon!
