Changing Essentials Kit: Shnuggle Changing Mat + Diaper Pail + Liners

The mat is independently tested to exceed CPSC and ASTM mandatory requirements but never names 16 CFR 1235 or ASTM F2388 specifically, nor points to a CPC, lab report, or JPMA listing.

The pad is disclosed as 100% PU foam, PVC and BPA free, which names the fill material, but no CertiPUR-US or GREENGUARD certification is claimed and no flame-retardant-free statement or test result is given.

The surface the child lies on is described only as a 'warm-touch, waterproof surface'; no fabric is named and no GOTS or OEKO-TEX certification is claimed for it.

The mat's waterproof surface is stated to be PVC and BPA free, but the actual waterproofing polymer (polyethylene, PUL or TPU) is never named, and no phthalate- or PFAS-free statement is made.

Nothing is published about fragrance, dye or lotion content for the changing mat, nappy bin, or the biodegradable diaper liners included in this kit.

We queried the complete CPSC recall database (10,039 records, 1973-2026) for Shnuggle USA and found nothing filed against the brand in any role. The corpus demonstrably covers diapers, cribs and strollers, confirming this is a clean result rather than a blind spot.

The changing mat is independently tested to exceed CPSC and ASTM requirements plus European, Canadian and Australian standards, but names no specific standard number, lab, or certificate for this product.

The mat is described only as 100% PU foam that is PVC and BPA free, and the nappy bin as 98% recycled polypropylene and 2% TPE; no layer-by-layer breakdown, test method, or result supports either claim.

The changing mat and nappy bin are items a child lies on or is changed beside, yet nothing names an independent dermatological institute or rating; the copy only gestures at a 'warm-touch' surface for comfort.

The kit ships with a 1-year warranty and the brand maintains a replacement-parts category, but no materials breakdown, warranty terms (coverage, exclusions, claim process) or country-of-manufacture is published.
