CURATEIQ

TrustScore breakdown

83 /100

We take what's most important for a product to determine the TrustScore. Here's our research:

Attachment Security 84

The belt adds 50 cm to extend the waist belt up to 180 cm total, but no load rating, attachment mechanism detail, or method for verifying mount security is stated anywhere, and reviewers only describe general comfort and ease of attaching.

Accessory Material Chemistry 78

The fabric used for the extender belt is not named, and no PFAS-free or PVC-free statement is published for this accessory specifically.

Safety Standard Compliance 78

The extender belt is a strap accessory used with a soft carrier that falls under ASTM F2236, but no compliance statement, standard reference, or certificate is published for the belt itself, and nothing adjacent addresses it either.

Recall History 97

We queried the CPSC recall database covering over 10,000 records back to 1973 and found no recall filed against this brand in any role. The corpus demonstrably covers carriers and related gear classes, so this is a clean, confirmed result.

Textile & Foam Chemistry 78

No flame-retardant-free or PFAS-free declaration is published for the extender belt's fabric, and nothing addresses chemistry for this accessory.

Certification Credibility 87

OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification and GREENGUARD Gold mentions we found are tied to the Hipster Plus carrier fabric or sibling marketplace listings, not asserted for the Extender Belt itself. No certification claim appears for the extender belt.

Reachable Small Parts 78

No statement addresses whether the extender belt's buckle or attachment hardware is secured against detachment, and nothing adjacent speaks to small-parts safety for this accessory.

Transparency & Support 91

The Extender Belt carries a concrete 2-year warranty covering manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, with stated exclusions for wear and tear, airline damage, misuse and courier transit damage. A dedicated manual is published for this exact accessory.

Customer Stories

Sentiment Summary

Customers say the extender belt is easy to attach, remove, and share between caregivers of different sizes.
Reviewers mention the extender belt provides comfortable extra length and a bit of added support for larger waist sizes.

I have purchased the suitcase and two of the carriers as gifts for my daughter. All selfishly done so she and my grandchildren can travel easier! Nothing makes me happier than seeing my granddaughter roll up to me with a smile on her face! Or if she’s tired on an outing resting comfortably in the carrier! I am grateful for the quality and care of yourself product line! I tell all my grandparent friends about the products. Keep up the good work!
Mary O.
It was great. Easy to figure out how to attach it and worked perfect when switching off use between hubs and myself. We used it for the first time on our trip to visit family and will be using it again on our next trip. My child is 3 1/2, 3 ft and 30 pds. The belt felt like it gave a tad bit extra support too.
Melissa C.
this extender belt is easy to add or remove as needed when myself or my husband uses the carrier. would recommend if you need that extra size!
