Mima Zoom Lite Balance Bike

The seat and handlebar are said to adjust as the child grows and the PU wheels are claimed puncture-free indoors and outdoors, with a staff account of a couple of years' outdoor use, but no structural test or failure-rate data exists anywhere.

The frame is low and stable with non-slip handlebars built to resist tipping, a stated 110 lb weight limit, and a 360° swivel handlebar for turning, but no method or test result backs any of it.

Marketing copy references 'CPSC-tested safety' and a third-party post names ASTM F963/EN71.

The age range is given as 2-6, 2-5 in a brand video, and 2-5 on a retailer listing — the grading is inconsistent across the brand's own channels, with no small-parts warning stated anywhere.

We queried the CPSC recall registry directly against the full corpus and found one closed, remedied recall on record for this brand, for a high chair — a different product line entirely, with no connection to balance bikes. Nothing is open or unremedied.

A third-party aggregator links this bike to ASTM F963 and EN71, but the brand's own pages make no certification claim for it.

Weight, dimensions, age range and assembly are published, but the materials used, country of manufacture and product-specific warranty terms are not; only a generic brand-wide registration warranty is mentioned.
