I ordered this matching set for my newborn and I to wear for postpartum pictures. I found the sizing to be true to size on both of us. A small fit my 5' 6" 126 pound frame, (I also tried the set on a week before I delivered at 136 pounds and the fit was still fine). The preemie-newborn size fit my nearly six pound baby with room to spare. My only recommendation would be to have the mommy shirt be an inch or two longer as I prefer a longer fit on my shirts. The material is comfortable a medium thickness which makes it great for wearing these sets in all types of weather.
