GOTS certification is asserted for the finished blanket itself — the 100% organic cotton body, the dyes and the 97% organic cotton/3% elastane binding — and specific consequences are tied to it: no toxic heavy metals, no formaldehyde, no aromatic solvents, no azo dyes that release carcinogenic amines, and no PVC, nickel or chrome in trims and snaps. No licence or certificate code is published alongside those claims.

The blanket carries no easy-care, wrinkle-resistant or non-iron treatment — care is simply machine wash warm, tumble dry low — and formaldehyde and aromatic solvents are excluded under GOTS, with no chemical flame retardants used anywhere in the line. Nothing is stated about stain-resistant or water-repellent finishes or PFAS one way or the other, so half of this question is left open.

Disclosure here is unusually complete for a blanket: fibre content by percentage for both body and binding, the dye method, and cotton sourced in India with the item made there. The manufacturing facility is not named and no warranty covering defects is published.
