A national consumer publication had its own analysts and parent testers evaluate the brand's line and specifically praised the construction and design details like two-way zippers, button-close necklines and snap closures, noting the clothes felt higher quality than other brands tried, though that hands-on evaluation covered the brand's broader clothing line rather than this specific collar tee and shorts set. Nothing is published about snap or button retention, seam construction, or small-parts testing scoped to this particular garment.

The dyes are AZO-free and water-based, applied to a cotton-dominant interlock rather than a synthetic base layer, and the GOTS certification the brand holds restricts dye chemistry across processing to nontoxic colourants.
