Ramona the Radish

Ramona is moulded as one sealed piece with no water-entry hole, so the body has no internal cavity for water to collect in. A test method or result showing how that seal holds after repeated soaking is not published.

The brand names EN71 parts 1, 2, 3 and 12, plus ASTM F963-17 and CPSIA compliance for this teether/bath toy, and a retailer's own compliance listing for a sibling teether repeats the same named-standard claim.

The body is 100% natural rubber coloured with water-based pigments, and free of PVC, BPA and phthalates. A test method or result for the finished radish is not published, so the material claim rests on description alone.

The radish is a single molded piece with an integrated hole for hanging rather than a separate attachable part, which limits detachment risk, but no test method or result addresses durability under bath-abuse conditions.

Ramona the Radish is labeled 0+ and marketed as safe for babies for teething through complying with EN71 and ASTM F963-17/CPSIA, but no small-parts test method or result is published, and a same-brand teether design was previously recalled elsewhere for being a choking hazard.

We found a past regulator recall of the brand's Dalmatian Teether for a choking hazard, sold 2016-2017. A direct query of the CPSC recall registry turns up no record for Oli & Carol at all, and this is a different product line than Ramona the Radish.

Ramona the Radish is claimed to meet EN71 parts 1,2,3,12 and ASTM F963-17/CPSIA, tested at SGS and Bureau Veritas labs, all asserted for the finished product without a certificate number. A separate Oli & Carol product was found non-compliant with EN 71-12 by an EU regulator, but that finding is not tied to this product.

Handcrafted natural-pigment painting and natural rubber material are disclosed, but country of manufacture, warranty terms, and a repair/spare-parts route are not stated; a third-party source separately places manufacturing in Asia.
