Silicone Spout Cover

The spout cover is quick-drying, dishwasher-safe and easy to clean, with a drain plug slit so it does not block bathroom drainage, but no method or duration for the quick-drying claim is given.

The spout cover carries no mandatory federal safety rule, but the brand's only compliance language is a brand-wide statement that products needing third-party testing get CPCs, without naming any standard or certificate tied to this item specifically.

The cover is made of 100% silicone, food-grade and BPA-free, but no phthalate or broader bisphenol scope is stated and no supplier or test result accompanies the claim.

The cover is said to stretch over almost any tub faucet and to stay in place via silicone flaps even when wet, but no surface type, load limit, or test result backs the hold claim.

The silicone is stated free of formaldehyde, phthalates, BPA and flame retardants, but this is a brand-wide list rather than a per-material scope for this product, and it does not address BPS, BPF, or PFAS.

We queried the complete CPSC recall database (10,047 records, 1973-2026) for Parker Baby Co. and found no recall of any kind, in any role. The query's controls confirm the corpus covers comparable product classes, so this is a clean, confirmed history.

Target's own product data for this spout cover lists it as meeting ASTM standards, backing Parker Baby Co.'s statement that products subject to children's safety rules are third-party tested by CPSC-accepted labs with Children's Product Certificates. Neither names the standard or a certificate number.

The spout cover is a single molded silicone piece with no separate suction cups, caps or dividers described, but nothing addresses whether the integral flaps or rivets could detach, and no small-parts testing is mentioned for this item.

Parker Baby Co. publishes concrete warranty terms, six months against defects in materials and workmanship with stated exclusions and a repair-first policy, but discloses manufacturing only as 'various countries', with the specific country available by email on request.
