CURATEIQ

TrustScore breakdown

84 /100

We take what's most important for a product to determine the TrustScore. Here's our research:

Bag Material Identity 84

The caddy is named as 'vegan leather molded to a sturdy metal interior' but the polymer type (PU vs PVC) is never specified for this product, unlike the mat pages which name PU specifically.

Ingredient Disclosure 87

Gathre discloses a 72% PU / 28% genuine-leather composition for its bonded-leather mats, but no equivalent layer-by-layer breakdown is published for the Small Caddy's vegan leather shell or metal interior.

Lead & Heavy-Metal Avoidance 84

The Small Caddy's listing states it is free of lead and CPSIA compliant, but no published test results, lab name, or metals data back this claim for the caddy's hardware or metal interior.

Fragrance, Dye & Lotion Free 77

We found no fragrance-, dye-, or scented-finish statement published for the Small Caddy's vegan leather shell; nothing adjacent addresses dyes or added scent on this product either.

PFAS-Free Water Resistance 76

The caddy is marketed as wipeable and water-resistant, but nothing states whether the water-repellent finish is PFAS-free, and the only elaboration we found on this property sits on sibling mat pages, not this product.

Recall History 95

We queried the CPSC recall database spanning 1973 to 2026 and found no record naming Gathre in any role. Control searches confirm the registry actively covers comparable baby-gear categories like diaper, stroller and toy products, so this clean result reflects a genuine absence rather than a narrow search.

Certification Credibility 84

The Small Caddy's own listing states it is CPSIA compliant and free of toxins, PVC, phthalates and lead, but no test method, lab, or certificate number is published for this product, only the bare claim.

Transparency & Support 84

Gathre offers a lifetime workmanship guarantee that covers this caddy, but no materials breakdown, country of manufacture, or spare-parts/repair route is published for the Small Caddy specifically.

Load & Hardware Durability 83

Beyond the lifetime workmanship guarantee, no load rating, hardware material spec, or stitching detail is published for the Small Caddy; owner reviews describe it holding up well over years of household use.

I’ve been looking for a caddy so my kids can tote around their books to read for the day in our homeschool and this was exactly what I was looking for! Sturdy, tall enough so books won’t fall out but not bulky. Gathre for the win once again!
Lesley M.
Will be using this for a diaper caddy. Sleek design and neutral tone blend in seamlessly in the home.
Maria A.
Using them for my diaper-changing stations, and the size is perfect, and the quality is amazing!
