CURATEIQ

TrustScore breakdown

83 /100

We take what's most important for a product to determine the TrustScore. Here's our research:

Bag Material Identity 84

The shell is named precisely as real neoprene (styrene-butadiene rubber) with a polyester face, which is a falsifiable material claim, but no test method, certificate, or supplier is given to support the 'real neoprene' positioning against synthetic alternatives.

Lead & Heavy-Metal Avoidance 76

The changing pad is disclosed as PVC-coated polyester — a vinyl material in the exact category where lead stabilizers are the documented risk — yet there is no stated lead-free position, Prop 65 status, or heavy-metal testing for the hardware, zippers, or this PVC coating.

Fragrance, Dye & Lotion Free 78

Nothing addresses fragrance, dye, or finish treatments on the neoprene shell, lining, or changing pad fabric — this topic is simply not discussed anywhere in the brand's materials.

PFAS-Free Water Resistance 76

The bag is marketed as wipeable and the changing pad as PVC-coated, both durable-water-repellent-adjacent claims, but neither product includes a PFAS-free statement or coating-chemistry disclosure.

Recall History 95

We queried the complete CPSC recall database (10,058 records, 1973-2026) for this brand and found no recall filed against it in any role. The search corpus demonstrably covers diapers, strollers and similar categories, confirming this is a clean result, not a missed search.

Certification Credibility 77

The brand names certifications like JPMA and ASTM-F833 for its strollers and carriers, but no certification or named standard is asserted anywhere for this diaper backpack specifically.

Child-Adjacent Surfaces 87

The included changing pad's materials are named precisely — PVC-coated polyester front, polyester sandwich back — a falsifiable, specific claim, but it covers only this one included insert rather than a broader food-adjacent or skin-contact material standard for the bag.

Ingredient Disclosure 90

The bag publishes a layer-by-layer material breakdown: 100% polyester shell and lining, a styrene-butadiene rubber interlayer, and a PVC-coated polyester changing pad — specific and falsifiable, though with no test method or further detail attached.

Skin-Contact Safety Testing 78

We found no published dermatological or skin-contact testing for this backpack, and nothing adjacent on materials or skin-safety testing is published for the diaper-bag line either, even where a changing pad is included.

Transparency & Support 88

The backpack's shell, lining and interlayer materials and the changing pad's layers are all named, but no country of manufacture is given. Colugo's limited warranty does not list this backpack and covers only first purchasers who bought directly from Colugo, so no warranty or repair route is published for it.

Load & Hardware Durability 84

The bag has upgraded heavy-duty zippers, padded straps and a stated 5 kg, 20 L capacity, but no stitching, strap-anchor or load test result is published, and Colugo's limited warranty does not list this backpack.

Several reviewers mention that the bag wipes clean easily and holds up well to everyday mess, calling the material durable and easy to maintain.
Customers appreciate that the bag is machine washable, calling it a convenient feature for dealing with messes.
Some customers consider the bag a strong value compared to similarly styled premium diaper bags.

Nearly perfect. I love the utility of this bag. It's not too big nor too small. The adjustable dividers made it very easy to customize to your exact needs. The separate diaper hatch is genius and makes it easy to get the maximum value out of its size without having to bury stuff in the bottom of your bag. The side pockets are huge and will hold multiple small bottles or one large one. The neoprene is water resistant and helps mitigate cleanup on spills. Its fairly comfortable to wear but does lack any real back structure (which is a pro and con). Overall this is our new daily driver diaper bag and we both love it. Top marks for Colugo on this one!

The first thing I noticed when I pulled this out of the box was how thick the neoprene is. It is GIRTHY. The entire bag is thick and feels unbelievably high-end and well-made.The first thing I noticed when I pulled this out of the box was how thick the neoprene is. It is GIRTHY. We were impressed as soon as we opened it! It's quality, soft, but sturdy neoprene with sturdy zippers and huge outside side pockets that would easily fit 32oz water bottles or other large items, but could also hold smaller.

This diaper bag is the one you want to have while traveling by air. It’s the perfect companion as a carry-on approved size, and showcases multiple pockets with incredibly thick zippers. There also is a mini diaper “clutch” included in the bottom of the bag; complete with a foldable changing pad. There are several Velcro dividers that can be customized to best suit your packing needs. There also is a sleeve for attaching directly around your luggage handle while wheeling around in the airport. The side pouches for beverages can accommodate most 40oz bottles; which is great to have as a mom who pumps! Speaking of breast pumps; there is adequate storage in the base of the back to safety pack those and enough padding to cushion them for a bumpy ride
