The Carrier Mac, Black

The product description states the cover 'easily attaches securely onto the carrier' and fits both Colugo and non-Colugo carriers, but no load rating, mount mechanism detail, or test method is given, and the hood could use an added clip for a more secure rain seal.

The cover's water-resistant polyester/nylon shell carries no PFAS-free or PVC-free statement, and the only chemical claim we found is the brand's broad, unmethoded safety assertion for all products.

The Carrier Mac is a weather cover that attaches to a baby carrier a child is carried in, so the applicable soft-carrier standard framework still reaches it, but no ASTM or CPSIA standard is named for this accessory anywhere, only for the separate Colugo Carrier itself.

We queried the CPSC recall database directly across its full corpus and found no record naming this brand in any role. A control search confirms the registry covers comparable product classes like strollers and carriers, so the clean result reflects an actual clean history.

The cover is water-resistant polyester and nylon with no PFAS-free or flame-retardant-free declaration anywhere, and no named test method or standard backs the general chemical-free safety claim we found.

All its products undergo internal and third-party testing to meet US safety regulations, but this accessory has no named lab, test method or certificate number tied to it.

The Carrier Mac has a detachable hood and a zip handwarmer pocket, both parts a seated child could potentially reach, but nothing is published about securing or oversizing these parts, or about mounting them out of the child's reach.

It partners only with manufacturers who share its safety vision, without naming the country of manufacture, specific materials beyond organic cotton, or any warranty terms for this accessory.
