CURATEIQ

TrustScore breakdown

89 /100

We take what's most important for a product to determine the TrustScore. Here's our research:

Tableware Material Safety 91

The bowl is named as 100% food-grade silicone, not melamine or bamboo-composite, and is third-party quality tested as BPA, BPS, PVC and phthalate free, avoiding the melamine/bamboo formaldehyde risk entirely through a different clean material.

This represents 20% of the total score.

Decoration & Coating Risk 78

The bowl is offered only in solid flat colors with no printed decal, glaze or pattern, but nothing addresses decoration or surface-coating safety specifically for this item.

This represents 15% of the total score.

Food-Contact Material Safety 91

The Tiny Bowl is 100% food-grade silicone, third-party quality tested and confirmed free of BPA, BPS, PVC and phthalates. This goes beyond a bare BPA-free claim by naming BPS specifically, though no lab or report is identified.

This represents 15% of the total score.

Heat & Dishwasher Guidance 91

Care limits are specific and material-appropriate: the bowl is dishwasher, microwave and oven-safe up to 350°F, a concrete threshold rather than a bare 'microwave-safe' marketing claim, and it is silicone rather than plastic so the usual microwaving-plastic hazard does not apply.

This represents 15% of the total score.

Heat & Wear Behavior 87

Mat-based products including this bowl are stated to be dishwasher, microwave and oven-safe up to 350°F, but no shedding or migration testing at use temperature is published, and no explicit replacement schedule is given beyond stage-based upgrades. Reviews show repeated dishwasher cycles without reported degradation.

This represents 10% of the total score.

Recall History 97

We queried the complete CPSC recall database (9,969 records, 1973-2026) for ezpz and found no recall at any date, in any role. A control search confirmed the corpus covers comparable categories like pacifiers and toys, so the clean result reflects the brand's absence, not a missed search.

This represents 10% of the total score.

Certification Credibility 92

The bowl is stated to be 100% food-grade silicone, third-party quality tested, FDA approved, and CPSC certified, with no certificate number published. A retailer independently repeats the same FDA/CPSC claim in its own product data, reinforcing but not adding to it.

This represents 8% of the total score.

Transparency & Support 84

The bowl's material (100% food-grade silicone) and a general testing claim are disclosed, but country of manufacture, supplier, and formal warranty terms are not published; post-sale support is only a generic email contact with no stated remedy process.

This represents 7% of the total score.

Customer Stories

Sentiment Summary

Many reviewers say the bowl's suction holds firmly to highchair trays and tables, keeping their baby from lifting or dumping it.
Customers frequently mention the bowl's small size is well suited to beginning solids and easy for little hands to use.
Some reviewers say their child eventually learns to slide or pry the bowl off the tray despite the suction.
A few reviewers report the suction does not hold well on certain tray surfaces, such as plastic or the Stokke tray, letting the baby lift it off.

I love this bowl! It’s very well crafted, strong suction to secure safely to the high chair table surface, and it’s the perfect size to not overwhelm my baby when he’s learning how to eat. Also, I love how the material feels high end.
Denise K.
Our baby is totally ready for solids but she’s really small so many of the plates/bowls are just the right size for her. So fun to watch her growing independence!

close to perfect self feeding bowl. the big advantage is that baby can not pick it up and dump it out. also easy to clean.
Kate K.
This is is impossible for a baby to pick up if they’re grabbing it straight up. But if they once figure out that they can slide it side to side it’s all over. My 9 month old daughter slides it to the side of her tray, bangs it against the edge and it pops right up. Then she dumps everything out and throws it on the floor. I think probably a lot of babies haven’t figured this out, but it unfortunately hasn’t worked well for us.
Kathryn b.
Unfortunately none of these plates or bowls work with my one year old on his high chair, so I'm not even using them after spending all that money. Disappointing. My son merely lifts up the side and throws the plate.
