CURATEIQ

TrustScore breakdown

87 /100

We take what's most important for a product to determine the TrustScore. Here's our research:

Airway & Positioning Safety 84

This hip carrier lets the child face outward and interact eye-to-eye with the caregiver, and is marketed only from 9 months, outside the typical forward-facing-out risk window. No TICKS or ASTM airway-specific documentation is published.

Safety Standard Compliance 92

The toddler carrier is tested under ASTM F2907-22 and CEN/TR 16512-2015 by an independent lab, a named standard directly applicable to this carrier class, asserted for the finished product with no certificate number published.

Hip-Healthy Design 77

The carrier is a bucket seat worn on the hip attached to a diagonal strap, but no M-position support, knee-to-knee measurement, or IHDI Hip Healthy designation is published anywhere for this product.

Carrier Textile Chemistry 84

The seating fabric is cotton and the belt is polyester, with Oeko-Tex and GOTS named for fabric and production generally, but no certificate number, no Product Class I scope, and no foam-padding chemistry disclosure are given.

Recall History 97

We queried the complete CPSC recall database (10,047 records, 1973-2026) for this brand and found no recall filed in any role, at any date. A control search confirms the registry does cover carriers and comparable juvenile products, so the clean result is meaningful.

Structural Load Integrity 91

The carrier states a clear weight/age limit (9 months to 4 years, max 20kg/44lbs) and describes its load-bearing hardware - a wide diagonal strap, shoulder pad, and plastic buckle - tested by an independent lab under ASTM F2907-22.

Textile & Foam Chemistry 84

Fabric and production are said to follow Oeko-Tex and GOTS standards, but no explicit FR-free or PFAS-free declaration is made, and this carrier has no foam padding described or certified for chemistry at all.

Certification Credibility 92

The carrier is tested by an independent lab under ASTM F2907-22 and CEN/TR 16512-2015, a named standard and named testing body asserted for the finished product, though no certificate number is published. Fabric certifications (Oeko-Tex, GOTS) are named only generically without product-level scope.

Transparency & Support 85

The carrier's seating is disclosed as 100% cotton, the belt as 100% polyester, and the clip as 100% POM, with country of manufacture given as the Netherlands and Poland and a 2-year warranty stated. No spare-parts or repair route is published for when hardware fails.

Customer Stories

Sentiment Summary

Customers frequently describe the carrier as comfortable for both parent and child, with several saying it eases arm and shoulder strain compared to carrying a toddler by hand.
Many reviewers praise the fabric quality and stylish prints, saying the carrier looks and feels well made.
Several customers say the carrier is easy to use for repeatedly lifting a toddler up and down during walks or outings.
A few reviewers report shoulder or neck discomfort from the strap, with one saying it dug in uncomfortably and another returning the carrier because of shoulder strain.
Some customers feel the carrier is worth the higher price compared to competitors, citing the quality of materials.

We absolutely love our Wildride baby carrier! It has quickly become one of our favorite baby essentials and has made everyday life with a baby so much easier. The carrier is incredibly practical, comfortable, and easy to use, especially when you are out and about and a stroller simply isn’t an option. It has been perfect for traveling, sightseeing, walking through busy places, exploring uneven terrain, and visiting places where navigating with a stroller would be difficult or impossible. What I love most is the closeness it gives me with my baby. Having her so close makes every outing feel more connected, while still allowing me to move around freely and comfortably. I also feel much more confident when we are walking around, as she is right there with me and I can easily keep an eye on her. My baby is extremely happy and calm in the Wildride. She seems to genuinely enjoy being carried this way, and quite often she simply relaxes and takes in everything around her. It has also been wonderful for those moments when she wants to be close and doesn’t want to sit in the stroller. Another huge advantage is how lightweight and compact it is. It takes up very little space, making it incredibly convenient to pack for trips or keep with you just in case. It has definitely become one of those things I never want to leave home without. The quality feels excellent, the design is beautiful, and the carrier is both functional and stylish. Most importantly, it gives us freedom to explore while keeping my baby close, comfortable, and content. I would wholeheartedly recommend the Wildride baby carrier to any parent. Whether you are traveling, sightseeing, going for a walk, or simply need a practical alternative to a stroller, it is an absolute game changer. We genuinely love ours! Beautiful and high quality. We didn't even sweat a bit wearing it in the summer, and baby was very comfortable in it.

I’m really happy with Todler Care! The material is high quality, it’s very comfortable, and visually beautiful. You can truly feel the attention to detail and care put into the product. It not only looks great but also feels great to use. Definitely something I would recommend to others!
Manuela Z.
Usability great but yhe material is cheap! Not at all worth the price for this specific material!
Nazia R.
Great quality and design, but the strap is barely adjustable, making it much less practical than other versions.
