Alphabet Cards

The cards are matte-laminated with rounded corners for durability, and reviewers across multiple purchases describe them as thick, sturdy card stock holding up from infancy through early elementary years without cracking or peeling.

The cards pair specific features (high-contrast illustrations, letter/animal pairing) with claimed skills like visual focus, vocabulary and letter recognition, but no method or independent measure backs the cognitive-development claims, resting on assertion plus parent testimonials.

We found no published CPSIA or ASTM F963 compliance statement specific to this card set, though the brand names CPSIA testing and named US/UKCA standards for its product range generally. Wee Gallery is an identifiable, retail-distributed manufacturer, so non-publication here is ordinary.

These cards are marketed as safe for newborns through preschool with no explicit small-parts warning, and no external source confirms an age grading specific to this card set for cross-checking.

We queried the CPSC recall registry directly and found two records for this brand: a 2021 wooden-puzzle choking recall and a 2024 phthalates recall, both self-initiated Fast Track actions with no injuries reported. Neither covers this paper flashcard line, so the clean record stands for this product.

The cards are made from FSC-certified paperboard, a named, finished-product-scoped material certification, printed with soy-based inks. No certificate number is published, but the claim is specific and applies directly to this product.

The material (FSC paperboard, soy ink, matte laminate) is disclosed, but the country of manufacture and any warranty or replacement terms for this card set are not published anywhere we found.
