My Brest Friend was created by Andrew Zenoff, who saw new mothers struggling to breastfeed comfortably with household items like bed pillows and rolled-up towels. Working with nursing moms and lactation consultants, he developed more than 50 prototypes in a single year before arriving at the finished design. The nursing pillow wraps around the body to hold its position and support baby during feeding. The brand says its patented design is the top choice of lactation consultants and is used in hundreds of NICU units and birthing hospitals; slipcovers and accessories, including organic cotton options, are sold alongside it.
