CURATEIQ

TrustScore breakdown

89 /100

We take what's most important for a product to determine the TrustScore. Here's our research:

Material Chemistry 87

The foam is explicitly free of flame retardants, corroborated independently, but the cover repels liquid well, a property consistent with a treated finish that is never named or disclosed as such, leaving the cover chemistry unaddressed.

Nursing-Pillow Rule Compliance 93

Consumer Reports tested this pillow line hands-on against the new federal firmness, opening-width and warning-label requirements and found the Original/Deluxe design already compliant, with warning labels sewn in, and no redesign needed.

Lounger-Crossover Honesty 74

The design is solely for breastfeeding with no large sleep area, but its own retailer copy references baby 'sleeping after feeding' on the pillow, and published customer testimonials describing babies falling asleep on it carry no brand pushback.

Fill & Cover Chemistry 89

The foam fill is 100% polyurethane, stated FR-free and tested by a named lab, corroborated independently by two outlets; the cover is disclosed as cotton or polyester by model, though no certificate number is published for either component.

Recall History 97

We queried the CPSC recall database covering 1973-2026 and found no recall record for this brand at any date, in any role. The corpus's coverage of comparable product classes was confirmed with control searches, so this is a genuinely clean result.

Certification Credibility 93

Consumer Reports independently tested the pillow line and confirmed compliance with the new federal firmness and angle rule, adding verification the brand's own claim didn't have. A named lab (Intertek) is also cited for safety testing but without a resolvable report number.

Cover Hygiene Design 85

The cover is removable and machine-washable with clear care instructions, but the foam core is spot-clean only, and an independent tester found the cover ripped and needed reassembly after just four washes.

Transparency & Support 91

A one-year limited warranty for manufacturer defects is published, and fill and cover materials are broken out by model. The brand is also upfront that it does not currently offer extender belts as an accessory.

Composition Disclosure 91

The fill (100% polyurethane foam) and cover materials (cotton for organic lines, polyester for standard covers) are broken out by model, and the one-year manufacturer warranty is clearly stated.

Feeding-Position Support 94

Wirecutter's hands-on testing found the pillow firm with a supportive backrest and a strap that stays put, ideal for feeding two babies at once, and other independent testers confirmed no sagging or loss of loft over months of use.

Customer Stories

Sentiment Summary

Customers frequently mention that the pillow provides strong back and posture support during nursing sessions.
Many reviewers say the adjustable, buckled strap keeps the pillow secure and prevents it from sliding, unlike other nursing pillows they tried.
Reviewers often note the firm cushion keeps the baby positioned well for latching without sinking.
Some customers like the front storage pocket for holding a phone, bottle, or burp cloth during feeding.
A recurring complaint is that the cover or Velcro/strap area tears or wears out within days to a few weeks of use.
Several reviewers describe the Velcro losing its grip or the stitching near the Velcro coming apart after a short period of use.
Some reviewers mention that the foam underneath the cover discolors from white to yellow over time.
Some plus-size customers say the pillow fits their waist well even at larger sizes, while at least one reviewer felt it was not plus-size friendly and shifted uncomfortably.
Several reviewers say the pillow is pricey but consider it worth the cost given how much it helped with breastfeeding.

I take my nursing pillow everywhere with me! Nursing can be tough on the back and posture in general, but having this pillow helps so much. I also love that the strap is adjustable because it allows the pillow to actually be secure, unlike other brands that do not buckle.

Seems to do a good job so far of not allowing spills to penetrate, no complaints yet.
Katie
This pillow completely changed my nursing experience and helped so much with my son’s latch (and my comfort!) - I am still using it today at 11 months postpartum. Highly recommend!!

Edit: -2 stars for the cover, which significantly ripped within 2 weeks. The fabric doesn’t seem substantial enough Pricey, but the super deluxe is worth it. One of my must-haves for breastfeeding.
Katarina
I used the pillow for two days only and it’s already broken. Despite the high price is very cheaply made.
