CURATEIQ

TrustScore breakdown

81 /100

We take what's most important for a product to determine the TrustScore. Here's our research:

Changing-Product Compliance 77

Care instructions for this pad cover only spot-cleaning; there is no mention of containment barriers, a restraint system, or 16 CFR 1235/ASTM F2388 compliance, and this portable pad is not marketed for elevated changing surfaces.

Core & Fill Chemistry 77

The pad is free of flame retardants, but nothing names the actual fill material inside the padding - no foam, fiber, or cotton is identified anywhere for this product.

Textile Certification 77

No fabric certification is named for the changing pad itself; the GOTS/OEKO-TEX claims attach only to a separate Changing Pad Cover product, not to this pad's own fabric.

Waterproof Layer Chemistry 78

The changing pad is described only as wipeable, with a general phthalate-free, formaldehyde-free and flame-retardant-free claim, but no waterproofing polymer is named anywhere for this pad - not polyethylene, PUL, TPU, or vinyl.

Fragrance, Dye & Lotion Free 76

The free-from list names formaldehyde, phthalates, BPA and flame retardants for this pad but never addresses fragrance, dye or lotion, leaving the exact question this criterion asks unanswered.

Recall History 97

We queried the CPSC recall registry's complete corpus (1973-2026) for Parker Baby Co. and found no record at any date, in any role. A control search confirmed the database does cover diapers, cribs, strollers and similar categories, so the clean result is meaningful.

Certification Credibility 92

Products subject to children's safety requirements are third-party tested by CPSC-accepted labs and backed by Children's Product Certificates, a named finished-product certification mechanism with no licence number published.

Ingredient Disclosure 77

No layer-by-layer materials breakdown is published for the changing pad; care instructions state only 'spot clean only,' and specific manufacturing details require emailing support rather than being published.

Skin-Contact Safety Testing 76

The pad is free from formaldehyde, phthalates, BPA and flame retardants, but no dermatologist test, named institute, or hypoallergenic rating is stated anywhere for this product.

Transparency & Support 84

A concrete 6-month warranty against material and workmanship defects is published, with a repair-first remedy policy. Country of manufacture is disclosed only as 'various countries,' with specifics gated behind a support email rather than published.

Reviewers like the magnetic snap closure over velcro or traditional snaps, noting it folds back up neatly and slides into the diaper bag.

Gave 5 stars but there’s nothing extra special about this. The diaper bag did come with one already so now I have 2
Kay
I love it! Super cute with the stripes, easy to clean, good padding and fits in the backpack perfectly.
