CURATEIQ

TrustScore breakdown

88 /100

We take what's most important for a product to determine the TrustScore. Here's our research:

Airway & Positioning Safety 91

Each carry comes with a stage rule: front-facing-out and hip carry only from six months with strong, consistent head control; back carry from six months with a written instruction to move a sleeping child to a front carry so head and neck stay supported; and a padded head support that folds up for young infants and down once neck control is established. This is a structured panel carrier rather than a bag-style sling, and it complies with ASTM F2236-16a for soft infant and toddler carriers.

Safety Standard Compliance 92

This carrier complies with ASTM F2236-16a, the US standard for soft infant and toddler carriers, and with CEN/TR 16512:2015, and is CPSIA compliant and tested against both mandatory and voluntary safety standards. No third-party lab report, Children's Product Certificate or JPMA certification is published for the finished carrier.

Hip-Healthy Design 72

The carrier is rated hip-healthy by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute and the seat widens to keep the legs supported knee-to-knee as the child grows, but that designation covers five of the six marketed carries: the newborn fetal carry, where the legs are curled up inside the panel rather than in the M-position, is not a carry the IHDI recommends, and two independent babywearing reviewers flag it for the same reason. The fetal carry is still sold and instructed alongside the hip-healthy rating, and no knee-to-knee panel width is published for either seat setting.

Carrier Textile Chemistry 83

The shell is a hypoallergenic cotton-poly performance blend and the carrier contains no lead, toxic dyes, phthalates or flame retardants. No OEKO-TEX or GOTS certificate is held for this carrier, no PFAS, azo-dye or formaldehyde testing is named, and the shoulder, waist and leg padding is not covered by any published certification or test result.

Recall History 92

We queried the complete CPSC recall corpus — 9,944 records covering 1973 to August 2026 — and found one LÍLLÉbaby entry: a voluntary November 2018 recall of about 6,600 Active Series carriers, a different line from this one, after three reports of the sliding chest-clip strap detaching from the shoulder strap, with one child falling and no injuries reported. Consumers were notified directly and offered a free replacement carrier plus a full refund, and that recall notice and remedy remain openly published years later.

Structural Load Integrity 92

Weight limits are stated plainly at 7–45 lb across all six carries, the hardware is described down to the two-way adjustable webbing, safety-band strap retention and buckles that click into place, and an independent tester who bought the All Seasons scored it 9 out of 10 for both security and support. Owner reviews across the corpus are clean on buckle slippage, ring failure and seam separation, including units in daily use with intact stitching and buckles after four years.

Textile & Foam Chemistry 83

The carrier contains no lead, toxic dyes, phthalates or flame retardants. Nothing addresses PFAS in the outer fabric or the zip-down mesh, the declaration names no specific components, and no test method, result, laboratory or foam certification is given for the shoulder, waist and lumbar padding.

Certification Credibility 92

This carrier complies with ASTM F2236-16a and CEN/TR 16512:2015, is CPSIA compliant and ASTM safety-certified, and contains no lead, toxic dyes, phthalates or flame retardants. These named standards are attached to the finished carrier rather than to a component, though no certificate number, testing laboratory or report reference is published alongside them.

Transparency & Support 91

The carrier is made in China, the shell is a hypoallergenic cotton-poly performance blend, and the warranty runs two years against manufacturing defects in material or workmanship with proof of purchase. Fibre percentages, the padding and buckle materials, and the manufacturing facility are not published.

Customer Stories

Sentiment Summary

Customers frequently praise the lumbar support and back padding, saying it reduces or eliminates back pain during extended wear.
Many reviewers say the carrier is comfortable for both baby and wearer and that babies often fall asleep quickly in it.
Reviewers appreciate the zip-down mesh panel for keeping baby cool in hot weather.
Several petite or shorter reviewers report the carrier fits poorly, with the waist and shoulder straps sized for taller or larger wearers, though other petite customers say it worked fine for them.
A few reviewers describe quality or safety failures, including a buckle breaking while baby was in the carrier and difficulty getting help from customer service on warranty claims.
Some customers mention the hood does not stay tucked into its pocket and repeatedly falls out, which they find frustrating.

I've had my carrier for a little over 6 months. I have a 2.5 year old and an 8 month old. This carrier has been a huge help! I can put either kid in it as needed, my toddler loves being a backpack and the little one will fight sleep until shes in it. I spend most of my day without an extra set of hands so it's been a HUGE help and has given me the ability to go places just me and the kids. I use it literally every day!

I am 5’3” and wear a size 18 in women’s and I don’t need the belt extender that they sell separately! This carrier makes doing chores infinitely easier as I go room to room. There’s a built in headrest and hood for rainy days/times.

I purchased this a few weeks ago after struggling with my other child carrier for so long I was deterred from using, which in turn negatively impacted my ability to be/feel productive throughout the day while also taking care of my baby. This is everything I hoped it would be: easy to put on and use; comfortable for baby and I; adjustable so my husband or MIL can also use it; and supportive. For reference, I’m 5’ and 112lbs, so this even works for those that are petite, contrary to what some other reviews noted. Granted the waist belt is a short as it will go, but it DOES still work! Very happy with this purchase!

I wish I did more research. Apparently this carrier is one of the worst for short people. I'm 5'1. The back support doesn't do anything for me. When my 8 month old is out facing, her head covers half my face and is touching my chin. We don't have much money so it sucks that we have to just deal with it

Just wanted to make any petite parent aware that if you are considering this carrier it will not work for you. I am 5’2 with a small waist/short torso due to this the carrier does not fit my body properly thus being unsafe for me to use. The quality of the product is good, disappointed that I cannot use.
