CURATEIQ

TrustScore breakdown

84 /100

We take what's most important for a product to determine the TrustScore. Here's our research:

Fit & Entrapment 91

The sheet is fully elastic and sized for a standard 52"x28"x9" crib mattress, with a retailer's own product data independently confirming a 9-inch maximum mattress depth and all-around elastic construction.

Sleep-Product Compliance 78

This crib sheet dresses an occupied sleep surface, so a compliance trail applies, but no Children's Product Certificate, accredited-lab report or named federal standard is published for it.

Textile Certification 78

The sheet is named as 100% cotton muslin, but no GOTS or OEKO-TEX certification is claimed for the finished sheet; the brand's GOTS claims cover its separate Avery organic line.

Finish & Treatment Chemistry 77

The sheet is not marketed as wrinkle-free, water-repellent or antimicrobial, but the brand also publishes no explicit statement ruling out these treatments or naming the finishing chemistry used on the fabric.

Recall History 97

We queried the CPSC recall registry's complete corpus (10,047 records, 1973-2026) for Crane Baby and found no recall in any role, at any date. A control check confirms the database does cover cribs, strollers and related nursery goods, so the clean result reflects the brand's actual record.

Certification Credibility 78

No certification, named standard or test is published for this cotton muslin sheet; Crane Baby names GOTS only for its separate Avery organic line.

Emissions & Off-Gassing 77

No emissions certification, airing guidance, or VOC statement is published for this sheet; a Greenguard Gold certificate found in the same search belongs to a different brand's crib and is not evidence for this product.

Transparency & Support 84

The sheet is made in India with design in the USA, but the finished-sheet materials are described only as 'all-natural, non-toxic' with no component breakdown, and no product warranty is published beyond a damage-on-arrival replacement window.

Wash Durability & Shrinkage 84

Care instructions are published (cold machine wash, low tumble dry, non-chlorine bleach only), and the sheet softens with washing, but one review reports the sheet bunching after several nights' sleep and no shrinkage or dimensional-stability figures are published.

Material Disclosure Depth 82

The sheet is identified as 100% cotton muslin, a single concrete material, but the brand adds only general 'all-natural, non-toxic' language with no layer, weave, dye-process or finish-level disclosure beyond naming AZO-free dyes.

Safe-Sleep Marketing Discipline 92

The fitted sheet is presented alone, dressing a bare crib mattress with no bumpers, pillows, quilts or loose blankets shown or sold alongside it.

Customer Stories

Sentiment Summary

Customers describe the sheet as very soft and say it stays soft or gets softer after repeated washes.
Reviewers mention the fabric breathes well and feels light enough for warmer months while still working for layering in winter.
Customers say the sheet fits their crib mattress well and snugly.
One customer noted the actual color appeared more salmon-toned than the pink they expected, and another wondered whether the color would stay vibrant after washing.

This is such a great quality crib sheet for my daughter’s nursery. Not only is the sheet adorable but the packaging is so cute and I loved receiving it in the mail. The sheet holds up well as I have washed it multiple times and it feels just as soft as the day we got it.

Very soft to the touch. Fabric breaths easily. Light enough for the hotter months. Work well in the winter when layering with other blankets. Color is said to be pink. I find it to be more of a salmon color. I have it in my sons nursery and it’s neutral enough. Very easy to clean. Gets softer with every wash.

i really like the fitted sheet for the crip in desert rose. its very good and nice quality sheet which i kniow will last me for a while. its very soft and fits perfectly on my sons crib. hopely the color will stay as vibrant as it looks now so will see how it dries when i wash it.
