CURATEIQ

TrustScore breakdown

83 /100

We take what's most important for a product to determine the TrustScore. Here's our research:

Fit & Entrapment 91

Fully-elastic construction fitted to a named standard crib mattress size (52in x 28in x 9in), and Target's own product data for this exact barcode corroborates a 52x28in sheet rated to fit mattresses up to 9 inches deep.

Sleep-Product Compliance 79

The sheet fits the exact crib mattress dimensions and features a fully-elastic construction, but no CPSIA Children's Product Certificate or named federal standard is published for this item.

Textile Certification 78

No GOTS or OEKO-TEX certification is claimed for this finished cotton sateen sheet.

Finish & Treatment Chemistry 77

The sheet is marketed only as soft cotton sateen that softens with washing; there is no statement about wrinkle-resist, water-repellent, stain-resist or antimicrobial treatments, either claimed or denied.

Recall History 97

We queried the complete CPSC recall database (10,047 records, 1973-2026) for Crane Baby and found nothing filed against the brand in any role. A control search confirms crib and similar nursery products are well represented in that corpus, so the clean result is meaningful.

Certification Credibility 78

No certification, named standard or test is published for this cotton sateen sheet; Crane Baby names GOTS only for its separate Avery organic line.

Emissions & Off-Gassing 77

No emissions certification or off-gassing information is published for this cotton sateen sheet; a GREENGUARD Gold certificate found in the same search belongs to a different brand's crib, not to this product.

Transparency & Support 84

Only a general 'all-natural, non-toxic' materials claim is provided with no component breakdown, and its post-sale obligation is limited to a 3-day damaged-shipment replacement rather than a warranty; country of manufacture for this sheet is India, but no further supply detail is given.

Wash Durability & Shrinkage 85

Care instructions (machine wash cold, non-chlorine bleach, tumble dry low, no iron) are published, and buyer reviews report no pilling or stretching after washes, but no shrinkage allowance or pre-shrunk construction claim is stated by the brand.

Material Disclosure Depth 84

The sheet is described only as '100% Cotton sateen' with AZO-free dyes; no weave specification, finishing process, or any third-party test method is given to back the dye claim.

Safe-Sleep Marketing Discipline 77

The sheet is styled with coordinating safari-nursery decor and makes no statement about bare-surface use; no bumpers, pillows or loose blankets appear in the imagery reviewed, but no safe-sleep guidance is published alongside it either.

Customer Stories

Sentiment Summary

Customers describe the sheet as soft, breathable, and nicely made, with many calling out its beautiful look and feel.
Reviewers mention the sheet holds up well over repeated washes without pilling or stretching out of shape.
Several customers say the sheet fits a standard crib mattress snugly without excess fabric.
At least one customer feels the fabric is not quite as soft as expected, though still comfortable enough for their baby.

An absolute must! These sheets are perfect for the neutral tones look and are excellent quality. We will get great use out of these. 5 stars and highly recommend!

This Kendi crib sheet was a wonderful surprise. It is uber soft, breathable, and most of all beautiful looking. Nothing is too good for my little grandchild. The product is well made, easy to place on mattress, and washes and dries wonderfully. There is no pilling, no stretching out of shape, stays in place and they're wrinkle free too! I highly recommend this crib sheet!
