CURATEIQ

TrustScore breakdown

91 /100

We take what's most important for a product to determine the TrustScore. Here's our research:

Tableware Material Safety 91

The cup, lid and straw are named as 100% food-grade silicone, a clean material on this criterion's list, disclosed directly rather than implied.

This represents 20% of the total score.

Decoration & Coating Risk 92

The cup is undecorated molded silicone with no painted decals on any food-contact surface, and the silicone itself is stated free of lead and cadmium, removing the main decoration-related leaching vector for this item.

This represents 15% of the total score.

Food-Contact Material Safety 91

The cup is 100% food-grade silicone stated free of BPA, BPS, BPF, PVC, lead, cadmium and phthalates, going beyond a bare BPA-free claim to cover the key bisphenol substitutes for the finished product.

This represents 15% of the total score.

Heat & Dishwasher Guidance 91

Care guidance for this cup is specific: it is dishwasher-safe, and the brand's published care limits separately warn against boiling, sanitizing or microwaving its utensils, showing per-item guidance rather than a blanket microwave-safe claim applied across the whole product line.

This represents 15% of the total score.

Heat & Wear Behavior 87

Silicone is built to last and won't fade, and a third-party lab retests compliance annually, but this is a general silicone claim rather than a shedding or migration test on this cup at use temperature, and no consumer replacement interval is given.

This represents 10% of the total score.

Recall History 97

We queried the CPSC public recall database covering 1973-2026 and found no record of this brand in any role. The corpus's coverage of comparable product classes like pacifiers and toys confirms the search mechanism works, so the clean result reflects a genuinely clean history.

This represents 10% of the total score.

Certification Credibility 92

The cup is third-party quality tested and free of BPA, BPS, PVC and phthalates. The broader brand disclosure names FDA approval and CPSC certification for its silicone cups as a category, asserted for the finished product with no certificate number published.

This represents 8% of the total score.

Transparency & Support 84

Annual third-party testing is disclosed but the lab name and standard are not, and country of manufacture is not published anywhere we found. Warranty language is a vague best-efforts promise rather than concrete terms.

This represents 7% of the total score.

Customer Stories

Sentiment Summary

Many reviewers say the cup and straw help their baby or toddler learn to drink independently, often praising the weighted base and sensory bumps for supporting the learning process.
Several customers describe the cup as easy for small hands to hold and quick for babies to figure out.
A number of reviewers report leaking, spilling, or the lid popping off, especially when the cup is dropped or turned upside down.
Multiple reviewers report black mold developing inside the cup or straw despite regular washing, and some feel a cleaning tool should be included.
Some reviewers say the straw is easily pulled out by their child, which contributes to spills.

Working with baby to learn straw is better with right tools! Still learning but getting there.
Nakia W.
Love the weighted feel of the cup and the sensory bumps of the straw. Product is of great quality. Love the color as well.
Sabrina P.
This tiny cup is perfect for little hands
Tara O.
The straw failed the “pinch test” which may indicate it is not actually 100% food-grade silicone. I requested documentation showing the composition of the straw, but have received no response. Buyer beware. I do not recommend this product unless they can provide more transparency.
Ben B.
We’ve used the cup for not more than a month, washing it often but 3 spots of black mold showed up inside of the cup. Huge regret since I had already purchased extra straws to replace the one that the cup came with it, but now I’ have to throw it away.
