Rocket - Assortment

This is a four-part set: a rocket body with a large door that flips down to double as steps, a detachable nose-cone capsule with its own opening door, and two astronaut figures. Dimensions, weight, part count and materials are all published, but Green Toys says nothing about pinch points at the hinged doors or about how the detachable capsule and loose figures were assessed against the 3-and-up grade.

The rocket ships as four moulded recycled-plastic pieces with no assembly, tools or fasteners, has no external coatings to chip and is dishwasher safe. Durability rests on those descriptions alone — no drop, load or repeat-use testing and no results are given — and the single five-star owner comment we have is too thin to establish a pattern either way.

The rocket is moulded from 100% recycled plastic with no BPA, phthalates, PVC or external coatings, so there is no painted finish to chip or flake, and it meets FDA food-contact standards and is dishwasher safe. The polymer grade, the recycled feedstock and any heavy-metal or phthalate migration results for the finished toy are not published.

Green Toys certifies its toys to CPSIA and issues General Conformity Certificates, with European testing standard information supplied alongside them to retailers. ASTM F963-23 is not named for this rocket, and no third-party laboratory or Children's Product Certificate is identified.

The rocket is recommended for ages 3 and up, which is consistent with a four-piece set containing two small astronaut figures and a detachable nose-cone capsule. Green Toys does not print that age grade or a statutory small-parts choking warning alongside this rocket.

We queried the complete CPSC recall corpus — 9,944 records spanning 1973 to August 2026 — and found a single entry for Green Toys: a 2012 voluntary recall of Mini Vehicles, whose wheels and hubcaps could detach and pose a choking hazard. There were 10 reports of loosening, no injuries, and the remedy was a full refund; that is a different product line from this rocket, and nothing has been filed in the fourteen years since.

Green Toys issues CPSIA General Conformity Certificates for its toys and makes them, alongside European testing standard information, available to retailers, and this rocket meets FDA food-contact standards. No certificate numbers, issue dates, or testing laboratories are published.
