Key Features

Certifications

  • GREENGUARD Gold

    Certified by UL Solutions

GREENGUARD Gold certifies that a product has been tested by UL Solutions and meets strict limits on chemical (VOC) emissions into indoor air.

    What it checks

    • Lab testing of chemical emissions against limits for more than 360 VOCs plus total chemical emissions
    • Meets stricter emission limits than standard GREENGUARD, intended for sensitive settings like nurseries and schools
    • Compliance with California Section 01350 chamber testing method for VOC emissions
    • Manufacturing process review and routine re-testing to confirm ongoing compliance

What it does not cover It measures air emissions from the product, not general product safety, physical/mechanical hazards, choking risk, or compliance with toy or baby-product safety regulations.

This certification is held by the brand or manufacturer, not by Birch. We show it because the brand states it for this product. Summarised from the certifying body's own page.

CURATEIQ

TrustScore breakdown

88 /100

We take what's most important for a product to determine the TrustScore. Here's our research:

Frame Material & Adhesive 85

The Rolli is built from sustainably sourced New Zealand pine wood, but the bassinet support is made with TSCA-compliant engineered wood rather than solid wood throughout, and no CARB Phase 2 or NAF certificate is named for that engineered component.

Finish Type 84

The finish is a non-toxic, multi-step painting and staining process that is lead and phthalate safe, but it is not explicitly stated that the finish is water-based, only that it is lead/phthalate-safe.

Sleep-Product Compliance 91

The Rolli exceeds ASTM International and U.S. CPSC safety standards, and names ASTM F1169 and 16 CFR 1219 as the governing standards for its full-size cribs, with quarterly third-party lab testing referenced.

Recall History 92

We found one CPSC recall on file for this brand, covering the Kiwi Electronic Recliner/Glider for a USB overheating issue — a different product category than this crib. The brand issued a free repair kit promptly. Nothing in the registry names any crib line, including the Rolli.

Structural Standard Compliance 91

Each slat withstands at least 135 lbs of pressure against a minimum requirement of 80 lbs, matching the Rolli's own listed slat strength, and the brand names ASTM F1169 and 16 CFR 1219 as the applicable full-size crib standards it exceeds.

Certification Credibility 92

The Rolli is GREENGUARD Gold certified, tested for over 10,000 chemical emissions and VOCs, and compliant with ASTM International and CPSC standards. An independent lab review of a sibling Babyletto crib corroborates the GREENGUARD Gold claim without adding a certificate number.

Emissions & Off-Gassing 92

The Rolli carries GREENGUARD Gold certification, tested for over 10,000 chemical emissions and VOCs on the finished crib. An independent lab review of a sibling Babyletto crib in the same construction verifies the certification is real and scoped to the finished product.

Wood Sourcing (FSC) 85

The Rolli's pine is sustainably sourced from New Zealand forests, but no FSC certification or licence code is named for this specific model, even though some Babyletto cribs carry FSC certification.

Transparency & Support 91

The country of manufacture (Vietnam) and detailed dimensions are published, and a one-year manufacturing-defect warranty with free repair or replacement is stated on a dedicated warranty page. Spare parts for nursery furniture repairs are sold directly.

Material Disclosure Depth 84

The Rolli's frame is named as New Zealand pine with a bassinet support made of TSCA-compliant engineered wood, and the finish is a non-toxic multi-step painting and staining process. No component-by-component breakdown of adhesives, hardware finish, or a fire barrier is published for this model.

Customer Stories

Sentiment Summary

Many customers praise the crib's build quality and craftsmanship, describing the wood as sturdy and the piece as high quality.
Reviewers frequently highlight the crib's convertibility and long-term value, appreciating that it grows with the child through multiple stages.
Several customers mention that assembly was straightforward and could be completed relatively quickly, though experiences varied.
A few reviewers report cosmetic wood defects such as chipped or scratched pieces, and one mentioned a wheel that bent and broke within the first month.
Some customers found the assembly instructions unclear about part orientation, leading to redone steps during setup.

I am absolutely in love with this crib! As a first-time mom, I wanted something that would grow with my baby, and this crib truly delivers. The fact that it converts from a bassinet all the way to a toddler and junior bed makes it such a smart investment. The quality is amazing, the wood feels sturdy, and I love that it’s GREENGUARD Gold certified, which gives me peace of mind knowing my baby is sleeping in a safe environment. I also appreciate how stylish it is. It fits perfectly with my nursery aesthetic and doesn’t look bulky at all. Assembly was straightforward, and I love how easy it is to transition between stages as my baby grows. If you’re looking for a crib that’s functional, beautiful, and long-lasting, I highly recommend this one. It’s definitely worth it!

My husband and I are expecting our first child and did not want to fall into the trap of constantly buying new baby gear as our son grows. We wanted something that our son can grow with, and we decided to purchase the Rolli crib. We are extremely satisfied with the quality and craftsmanship of this bassinet/crib! We purchased the natural wood color and it goes well with everything else we have in our home. The bassinet assembly was easy. We can’t wait to welcome our baby boy into it! One minor hiccup that was quickly resolved was, two of the main crib pieces came damaged, and I believe it was due to shipping based on the damage on the outside of the box when the package arrived. Within the same day of the delivery, I reached out to customer service over the phone and was pleasantly assisted by Ronnie P., who fulfilled a replacement order for the two broken parts! I was truly impressed at how prompt and supportive their customer service team is!!! They really put the cherry on top with my experience with Babyletto!! Thank you Ronnie and babyletto for your service and beautiful crib! I’ve been recommending babyletto to all of my mom-to-be friends!!

We have it in mini crib mode right now and it is bigger than I thought it be, very sleek design and beautiful color. I hope my baby loves it as much as I do.

Baby sleeps better in the pack n play than in this crib. One of the wheels on this crib bent and broke not even a month in… well see if its worth the money when hes older
kisha
Box came with huge hole in the side that was so deep it dented the side of the crib on the inside of the box also upon assembly. I’ve noticed multiple scratches all over the wood that look like big cracks felt like great quality, but that’s not being maintained through the shipping process.
