This wash is a scented product, so there is no fragrance-free claim to stand behind: a natural origin fragrance sits in the formula and the coconut scent is one of the reasons buyers choose it. The scent is at least fully declared rather than hidden behind 'parfum' — triethyl citrate, gamma nonalactone, gamma octalactone, gamma decalactone and vanillin are each named with a rating — and the fragrance-free formulas sit in the separate baby line instead.

We queried the full CPSC recall corpus — 9,944 records spanning June 1973 to August 2026 — and Dabble & Dollop appears nowhere in it, in any role, at any date. A control check in the same corpus returned hundreds of records across comparable children's product classes, so the clean result reflects the brand's absence rather than a query that missed.

Every formula is 100% vegan and certified cruelty-free by Leaping Bunny, a named certification held for the finished products, and the scent blends are made to the ISO 9235 and ISO 16128 natural-origin definitions. The washes are dermatologist-tested and ophthalmologist-tested and the tear-free formula carries a 'certified' claim, but no certifying body, licence number, lab name or test protocol accompanies those three.
