We queried the full CPSC recall corpus — 9,944 records spanning June 1973 to August 2026 — and found a single entry for Green Toys: a 2012 voluntary recall of Mini Vehicles whose wheels and hubcaps could detach, about 50,000 US units, 10 reports, no injuries, remedied with full refunds. Nothing further has been filed in the fourteen years since, and that recall covered toy vehicles rather than this pretend-play set.

Green Toys issues CPSIA General Conformity Certificates for its toys and supplies them to retailers alongside European testing standard information, and this set is stated to meet FDA food contact standards. No certificate number, issuing laboratory or test date is published for the Cupcake Set.
