The Sprout's own page states stop mechanisms keep drawers from fully withdrawing, on ball-bearing glides, but the corroborating independent teardown-style confirmation of stop mechanisms was for a sibling changer dresser model, not this one; reviewers here also report bent glides and detaching slides after roughly two years.

The country of manufacture, Taiwan, is stated, and a warranty of one year plus a spare-parts program (touch-up pens, hardware kits, wood components) are published. A reviewer who emailed the brand about specific finish compounds reports receiving actual documentation rather than boilerplate, confirming the disclosure practice independently.

The base and drawer fronts are sustainably sourced New Zealand pine, with TSCA-compliant engineered wood in the drawer frame, but adhesive composition, exact finish chemistry and hardware metals testing are not published anywhere.
